Tel Aviv's hidden tropical paradise

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

Who would have thought that hidden in Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park you can find a tropical oasis that makes you feel like you're in Bali? I found this gem by accident when I was on my way to the cactus garden. This tropical garden is not far from it and much less visited, though even more special if you ask me! Some of my most loved photos by you are from the tropical garden, so I thought it was high time to share this place with you.

The tropical garden is open Sunday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm, but for the best lighting (the best photos) I recommend you to visit in the morning. The earlier the better and you will also most likely have the entire garden to yourself. Entrance is free and you get in from the side of the palm tree park next to the adventure garden. Be ware of mosquitoes though, because it's a tropical garden with ponds there are many insects!
